It is evident to me why there is such fire danger at this time of the year. The summer heat kills much of the foliage, causing a big issue for residents and fire fighters. My thoughts and prayers go out to those affected by these challenging times.
This was a wonderful sunset but it was even better because this time was spent with people I care about. Sometimes there are difficult weeks that send you into a state of mind that makes you want to go elsewhere. This is one of my favorite locations in the word and my mind took me here this week during some of the rough times. Sometimes there are clouds, but remember… there are always silver linings.
After spending almost 2 years in a 3rd word country, I have come to appreciate the 4th of July much more. I fee blessed to live in a great country where I can chase my dreams and assume my goals.
